My name's Andrea and I'm an illustrator, photographer and (occasionally web) designer.

Since I was a child I've always been an extremely curious person, with a great inclination to the wish of learning. I got passionate for things that were quite often very different from each other, like asm coding and painting, and I always tried to put all of myself into them. With time I learned that one life is just not enough for doing it all; even better, I learned that it's not enough even for taking care of few important things. So I constrained myself to some limits and I only kept what was more important for me, that is creating visual art (and playing lead guitar by the way, but that's another story).
My passion for concept art was born as a synthesis of many other passions I have. Painting, drawing, art history, software, photography, illustration, writing, cinema and more. To start from a problem and create a solution using everything I know and everything I still need to learn, that's the core of concept art as I intend it — it's really a neverending process of self improving, and that's probably what makes it so fascinating to me.
I work on various PCs running Microsoft Windows 7.
For 2D I mainly use Corel Painter, Adobe Photoshop, ArtRage and Xara Xtreme. I have not a fav 3D app, so I use the one that better fits the project; I'm especially used to work with 3DS Max though.
